LOOKING FOR CADDIES We are looking for caddies to work the Unit Team Games and the all day Sunday Sessions of our Sectionals. Candidates should be at least 12 years of age, mature and able to take directions from the Director in charge. If you have an interested candidate, please contact Sam Ghosh at sg2252@yahoo.com | PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE I am very pleased to be the new president of Unit 106. I want to thank Pat Rogers Linnemeyer for the guidance she has provided so far as I have transitioned into this position. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying that her hard work and dedication to the Unit 106 are greatly appreciated. She will be a hard act to follow. I also want to welcome the new board members to Unit 106 – Martin Becker, Marlene Case, and Chris Thorn – and also to thank Sam Ghosh, Gale Mirro and Susan Koster for their service these last few years as they leave the board. Their work has been critical to the Unit and has helped to ensure the success of our events. Our first two events of the year - the Annual Bruch in January and the Sectional in April – were very successful. New for this year was the addition of newcomers to the April event. We look forward to continuing increases in turnout at the remaining tournaments in 2024. One of our goals for this year is to increase Unit membership, both through the retention of players whose memberships have lapsed and the recruitment of newer players. Watch this space for more updates on that as well as other new initiatives for this year.
